On June 03-05, 2024, an international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was held on the topic "New challenges in ensuring the sustainability of biodiversity (COP29) - Green world and human health". The Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies was represented at the conference by Turane Isganderova, a researcher at the Bioadaptation Laboratory, Aygun Sadigova, a researcher at the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory, and Natella Aliyeva, a junior researcher at the International Laboratory of Bionanotechnology.  

At the conference, Turane Iskenderova gave a speech on "Evaluation of ultrastructural and physiological changes in wheat genotypes due to the effect of drought stress", Aygun Sadigova spoke on “Development of a protocol for sterilization of wild Rhubarb (Rheum Ribes L.) and in vitro callus induction”, and Natella Aliyeva gave a speech on “Assessment of the physiological state of wheat under drought stress with vegetation parameters”. Our employees' speeches were greeted with attention. The reports were the focus of discussions, and questions were addressed.
