On the 96th anniversary of the birth of academician Jalal Aliyev, a great scientist, social and political figure, his students and representatives of the scientific community visited his grave in the 1st Alley of Honor, read prayers for his soul, and placed wreaths and bouquets in front of his monument. Academician Irada Huseynova, vice-president of ANAS, director general of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, shared her memories of academician Jalal Aliyev. She noted that in the " Green World Solidarity Year ", the research and scientific achievements of the great scientist and teacher are particularly noteworthy.

Corresponding members of ANAS Ibrahim Azizov, Novruz Guliyev, Elshad Gurbanov, Zeynal Akbarov, Zarifa Guliyeva, a member of the Veterans Council and the Board of Directors of ANAS Women's Council of YAP spoke about academician Jalal Aliyev's outstanding services to the state and statehood of Azerbaijan, as well as to world science.
