Rector of Erzurum Technical University Prof. Dr. Bulent Chakmak, rector of Ataturk University Ahmet Hajimuftuoghlu, academicians from Turkiye and different parts of the world, and a large number of students participated in the opening program of the 7th symposium organized to bring together researchers working on biodiversity. Bioinformatics, biotechnology, microbial biodiversity, urban biodiversity, the impact of Green Energy Technologies on biodiversity, genetic resources, bioremediation, and many other topics were discussed by experts and academicians in the two-day symposium. Research fellows of the Laboratory of Plant Biotechnology Aygun Sadigova, Gunay Ismaylova and PhD student Vusala Jafarova successfully presented their presentations at the conference.
