Leading researcher of the laboratory of the Enzymology of photosynthetic carbon assimilation, PhD in biology, Assoc.Prof. Ulduza Gurbanova, leading researcher of the laboratory of Cell membrane systems, PhD in biology Nahida Aliyeva and researcher of the Bioadaptation laboratory Turana Isgandarova participated in the 12^th International conference “Photosynthesis and Hydrogen Energy: Research for Sustainability” held in Istanbul, Turkiye on October 14-18. Interesting speeches of many outstanding scientists were heard at the conference held at Bahcheshehir University, organized in honor of John Allen (United Kingdom), Eva-Marie Aro (Finland), Ibrahim Dincher (Canada), Kazunari Domen (Japan), Elizabeth Gantt (USA) and Andrey Rubin (Russia). The conference was devoted to modern and actual problems of photosynthesis and hydrogen research. Nahida Aliyeva participated in the conference with a poster presentation on "Salt-induced changes in the polypeptide content and ultrastructure of corn plant chloroplasts". Ulduza Gurbanova delivered a lecture on "Investigation of water-soluble sugars and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase in photosynthetic and non-photosynthetic organs of wheat genotypes differing in drought resistance". Ulduza Gurbanova answered the questions about the lecture. During the presentation, extensive discussions were held with scientists working in this direction.
