Today, the staff of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies visited the Alley of Martyrs on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the January 20 tragedy. The employees of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies respectfully commemorated the dear memory of the martyrs who gave their lives for the independence and freedom of Azerbaijan, laid flowers on their graves and read prayers for their souls. The January 20 tragedy is one of the most important pages of the struggle for freedom of the Azerbaijani people and a turning point on the path to independence. Those who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland that night were not just victims of one day, they became eternal symbols of freedom and independence. The fire of freedom burning in the hearts of the people was not extinguished by the sound of the bullets of the Soviet empire. On the contrary, that fire flared up even more, strengthening the will of the people. January 20 remained in history not only as a tragedy but also as an epic of heroism. On that day, women, children, and even the elderly fearlessly sacrificed their lives for freedom. Those who were martyred that night will forever sleep in the Martyrs' Alley of Azerbaijan, but their souls will always be a guide for the people on their path to independence. Every year on January 20, people gather at the Martyrs' Alley, which has become a sacred place, to pay their respects to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for freedom. The alley, decorated with red carnations, is a symbol of the people's blood memory and unyielding will.

Martyrs are never forgotten - the history written with their blood will live forever!

May Allah have mercy on them!
