Nine years have passed since the death of academician Jalal Aliyev, a great scientist and public and political figure, founder of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On this occasion, the staff of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, representatives of the Institute of Botany, the Institute of Crop Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Division of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS, students of the Jalal Aliyev School and his relatives visited academician’s grave in the 1st Alley of Honor, prayed for his soul, and laid wreaths and flowers in front of his monument.
