On April 28, Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Irada Huseynova, and the staff of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Science and Education visited the grave of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva — the beloved wife and lifelong companion of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, a distinguished ophthalmologist and Honored Scientist of the Republic of Azerbaijan — at the Alley of Honor on the occasion of her birthday.

Representatives of the scientific community laid bouquets at the graves of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Academician Zarifa Aliyeva, honoring their cherished memory with deep respect and reverence.
