As a result of your tireless scientific activity, being awarded the “EkoMir – 2024” International Ecology Prize is a clear indicator of the reputation of the Azerbaijani scientist in the global scientific community.

Your years of dedicated work, scientific-practical activity, and the multifaceted projects you have implemented at the institute have made significant contributions to the development of biological science in Azerbaijan. You have established a distinctive scientific school in the field of molecular biology and have authored valuable research recognized both within the country and internationally. Thanks to your exceptional leadership and organizational skills, effective progress has been achieved in fostering a productive scientific environment at the institute, increasing young scientists' and specialists’ interest in science, and expanding international scientific cooperation.

You are highly respected not only as a scientist but also as an educator, researcher, and science organizer. Your invaluable efforts in aligning the training of master’s and PhD students at the institute with international standards cannot be overstated. The greatest legacy of a scientist is their students. Today, thanks to your guidance and direct support, your students are pursuing PhD studies and conducting successful research at leading universities in advanced countries such as France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Turkey, Italy, and others.

You are a true intellectual and a capable science organizer, distinguished by your high intellect, principled stance, modesty, and demanding nature toward both yourself and others. Your successful service in multiple significant roles — as Vice-President of ANAS, Chair of the Division of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS, General Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chair of the Scientific Council and the Dissertation Council of the Institute, Editorial Board Member of the journal Proceedings of ANAS, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Life Sciences and Biomedicine journal of ANAS, Editor-in-Chief of the journal Scientific Works of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, Deputy Representative of the National Committee on Bioethics, Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology under UNESCO, member of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), and Professor at Baku State University — is a clear example of your outstanding achievements.
