One of the brightest, most honorable, and unforgettable days in Azerbaijan’s history is May 28 – Independence Day. This date is not only the day of the establishment of a state, but also a symbol of a nation’s desire to take ownership of its destiny, having sacrificed for its freedom. This important date is a source of pride for every Azerbaijani and forms the legal and ideological foundation of the modern Azerbaijani state.
