Researchers from the Laboratory of Photochemistry of Chloroplasts at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, MSE AR, including Corresponding Member of ANAS, Head of the Laboratory, Ibrahim Azizov, Leading Researcher, PhD in Biology, Associate Professor Mayakhanim Khanishova, Leading Researcher, PhD in Biology Ulkar Ibrahimova, and Researcher Konul Taghiyeva carried out a scientific mission at the Gobustan Regional Experimental Station of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry under the Ministry of Agriculture.

The main purpose of the mission was to evaluate the parental lines and hybrids planted at the experimental station in terms of plant development stages, plant density per 1 m², and disease resistance. Samples were also collected to determine a number of morphophysiological parameters, such as photosynthetic pigment content, leaf area, and relative water content in the plants.
