The article titled “Effect of drought stress on some biochemical parameters and ultrastructure of bread wheat genotypes”, reflecting the joint research conducted by scientists from the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Medical University, has been published in the prestigious Hungarian journal Cereal Research Communications (Web of Science impact factor 1.6). Authored by Doctor of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Tofiq Allahverdiyev, PhD in Biology Fuad Rzayev, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Eldar Gasimov, and academician Irada Huseynova, the article (2025, Vol.90, No.4, pp.1–12) discusses the drought-induced changes observed in certain biochemical and physiological parameters in the leaves and roots of bread wheat genotypes, as well as in the ultrastructure of the leaves.
