On June 30, 97 years have passed since the birth of prominent scientist and public-political figure, academician Jalal Aliyev. On this occasion, under the leadership of the Director General of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Irada Huseynova, the institute’s staff and the followers of Academician Jalal Aliyev’s scientific school visited his grave at the Alley of Honor.

Alongside the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, employees of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry, under the Ministry of Agriculture, also visited Academician Jalal Aliyev’s grave, paying a heartfelt tribute to his invaluable contributions to science and agriculture.

Participants of the commemorative ceremony honored the cherished memory of the academician by laying a wreath and flowers on his grave and offering prayers for his soul..

The rich scientific heritage of Academician Jalal Aliyev and the scientific school he created still serve the development of Azerbaijani science today and serve as an example for the new generation of scientists.
