On July 4, the regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of MSE AR was held. Opening the meeting with an introductory speech, the Institute's Director General, Academician Irada Huseynova, brought the issues on the agenda to the attention of the Council members. The meeting discussed reports on scientific, scientific-pedagogical and scientific-organizational activities carried out during the first 6 months of 2025. It was noted that during the first six months of the current year, scientific research was carried out at the Institute within 36 stages of 29 tasks aimed at implementing 6 topics under 3 directions and 3 problems. A total of 91 scientific papers were published by the staff, including 17 articles and 74 theses. A Memorandum of Understanding on joint cooperation and personnel training was also signed with Sindh Agriculture University located in Tando Jam, Pakistan. Then, the Council members were informed about the contents of the letters received from the Science and Higher Education State Agency regarding the “2025 Roadmap for Improving International Ranking Indicators of Scientific Publications” and the “Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025–2028.” A number of organizational issues were also discussed.
