On August 7, a meeting was held via the Zoom platform between Professor Ali Naz from Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences in Germany and the staff of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, led by the director of the Institute, Academician Irada Huseynova.

During the meeting, the results of research on wheat improvement conducted within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed last year between Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies were discussed. It should be noted that within the scope of this cooperation, in addition to local varieties, three high-yielding German varieties were sown under Gobustan conditions and involved in the research.

Extensive discussions were held during the meeting, and future activities were planned.
