PhD student in Plant Physiology at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and a junior researcher at the Proteomics Laboratory, Nihal Mustafayeva, was on a scientific mission from May 20, 2025 to August 9, 2025 at the Agricultural Analysis and Research Institute located in Speyer, Germany, to carry out research related to her dissertation entitled “Investigation of carbon exchange components in plant–soil interactions under various stress factors.” Under climate change, the tolerance mechanisms of wild and food plants to different stress factors were comparatively studied at the morphological, anatomical, and physiological levels. During her visit, Nihal Mustafayeva gained experience from the Agricultural Analysis and Research Institute, applied modern methods and equipment in research. The main directions of the studies included the determination of toxic components in plant and soil samples, as well as quantitative and qualitative analysis of metabolites.
