Doctor of biological sciences, Assoc. Prof. Shahniyar Bayramov participated in the meeting held within the framework of the COST program on September 18–19 at the CEKOM 3LJ Research Center near Split, Croatia. The main activity of the CEKOM 3LJ Center is research, development, and innovation in the fields of food, health, and biotechnology, with a particular focus on the use of local natural resources such as medicinal, aromatic, and fruit plants. At the event, various presentations were heard on non-chemical weed control methods aimed at protecting medicinal and aromatic plants in different European countries, as well as on the production of useful substances from these plants and the methods of their identification. At the CEKOM 3LJ Research Center, industry-relevant technologies were also demonstrated, and an exchange of views was held on the scientific and practical work carried out by scientists from various European countries.
