On September 24, a Civil Defense exercise titled 'Warning Assembly with Non-Militarized Civil Defense Units' was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies with the participation of commanders, officers, and personnel of the civil defense units. The main purpose of the exercise was to assess the preparedness level of non-militarized civil defense units against emergencies, to coordinate actions in crisis situations, and to improve the management knowledge and skills of the commanders and officers. During the training, the Head of the Civil Defense Headquarters of the Institute, Mikayil Pashayev, provided theoretical information on the operating principles of fire extinguishers and the rules of their use during fire suppression. Afterwards, the employees of the Institute participated in a practical exercise on extinguishing a simulated fire.
