A training course on biostatistics, jointly organized by the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and ICARDA (International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas), was concluded on September 26. The training was conducted by Tamara Ortiz, a specialist in bioinformatics and bioengineering from ICARDA’s Bioinformatics Unit. During the course, young researchers were introduced to the R programming language and fundamental concepts of plant genetics.
