Senior researcher of the Laboratory of Bioinformatics of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, PhD Nurmammad Mustafayev attended “Bordeaux Center of the Agricultural Scientific Research Institute” within the framework of the project “Dangerous viruses and phytoplasmas causing diseases in vegetables in Azerbaijan and the study of insect vectors through new molecular and serological methods” with the financial support of the Science Development Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The aim of the study was to edit the sequences after sequencing the genomes of phytoplasmas, causing huge crop losses, assembling genomes, studying and applying Phred-Phrap-Consed and MEGA6.06 computer program packages.

Mastering the abovementioned programs and their application were supervisied by the well-known scientist in the field of plant diseases, senior researcher of the Agricultural Scientific Research Institute, Dr. Chavier Foissak.
