Ulkar Ibrahimova, PhD in Biology, Associate Professor, Leading Researcher at the Laboratory of Photochemistry of Chloroplasts of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was invited as a Keynote Speaker to the Punjab University, Baba Guru Nanak University, and the University of Economics of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

On October 13–14, she delivered a presentation on “Development of Sustainable Agriculture in Azerbaijan and Innovative Approaches” at the 8th International Conference on Applied Zoology (ICAZ-2025) held at the University of the Punjab in Lahore. On October 15–17, she gave another talk on “Morphophysiological, Biochemical, and Genetic Mechanisms Ensuring Sustainability in Wheat” at the 2nd International Conference on Applied Sciences and Technology (ICAST-2025) hosted by Baba Guru Nanak University. She was awarded certificates for her contributions.

During her stay in Pakistan, Ulkar Ibrahimova also met with bachelor’s and master’s students of the Biology and Chemistry faculties at the University of the Punjab and Baba Guru Nanak University, where she shared her scientific and practical experience and answered students’ questions in detail.
