Head of the Laboratory of Chloroplast Photochemistry, corresponding member of ANAS Ibrahim Azizov, principal researcher, Doctor of Biological Sciences Atabey Jahangirov, leading researcher, PhD in Biology, Associate Professor Mayakhanim Khanishova, and researcher Konul Taghiyeva were on a scientific mission at the Ujar Experimental Station of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. A relatively saline area was selected in the cultivated field, and plowing operations were conducted. Subsequently, according to relevant breeding procedures, seeds of ten (F7) wheat hybrids, previously selected from 24 hybrids based on their morphophysiological traits and productivity indicators as relatively salt-tolerant, were sown.
