A meeting was held between the Acting Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Academician Irada Huseynova, and the institute’s young scientists and researchers. During the meeting, Academician Irada Huseynova showed keen interest in the scientific interests, aspirations, and challenges faced by young researchers and listened to their proposals. She spoke about the tangible results of the attention and support provided to young scientists at the institute and highlighted successful young researchers as exemplary cases. The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, has repeatedly emphasized in his speeches that young people educated abroad should bring their acquired knowledge and experience back to their homeland and contribute to the country’s development. Currently, a number of young researchers from the institute are continuing their scientific activities while pursuing master’s and doctoral studies abroad. One of them, Gulnar Abdullayeva, a recipient of the Islamic Development Bank PhD Scholarship Program for the 2018–2019 academic year, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation in Oncology at the University of Oxford, one of the world’s leading universities, and is currently continuing her scientific career as a postdoctoral researcher at the university’s Department of Oncology. Young researchers Aynura Pashayeva, Edgar Shahbazov, Gulnar Abdullayeva, and Elnara Sadigova provided participants with information about their education and research experience at foreign universities, noting that studying abroad offers young people opportunities to enhance their professional knowledge, become familiar with different cultures, learn modern teaching methods, establish international connections, and develop a global mindset. This experience significantly contributes to their future career competitiveness. Doctoral students Sahib Babaliyev, Agil Ahmadli, Matanat Bakhishova, Vafa Hasanova, and others expressed their gratitude to the institute’s management for organizing the meeting and shared information about their dissertation research and issues of concern. Discussions were held on conducting scientific research, preparing and publishing academic articles. Existing challenges were discussed, views were exchanged on possible solutions, and recommendations were provided.
