According to the civil defense activities plan for 2026, on February 13, a civil defense drill on alert and assembly procedures was carried out at the Institute with the participation of the management and non-mobilized civil defense units. Civil defense specialist Natiq Mammadov noted that the main objectives of the drill were to check the readiness of the alert system and to train personnel in practical alert and assembly procedures. During the drill, the staffing of civil defense units, their equipment with assigned property, and the level of theoretical knowledge related to the assigned tasks were checked. At the end of the exercise, relevant instructions were given to eliminate the deficiencies that were identified.
