On February 27, an event dedicated to 1 March – World Civil Defence Day was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Head of the Civil Defence Headquarters of the Institute, Natig Mammadov, delivered a presentation on the topic “Management of Environmental Risks for a Sustainable and Stable Future.” The participants of the event were informed about the history of the establishment of 1 March – World Civil Defence Day and the purpose of its observance. They were also provided with information on first aid in emergency situations, fire extinguishing procedures, medical protective and firefighting equipment, and were shown how to use them.
