On March 11, volunteers of the Bir Könüllü Students’ Cooperation Public Union, 32 students studying at the Faculties of Chemistry and Biology of various universities across the country, visited the Institute of Molecular Biology. During the meeting, the students were informed about the Institute’s main areas of activity, ongoing scientific projects, and current research. The Institute’s specialists provided the students with detailed information about fundamental research conducted in laboratories equipped with modern scientific instruments. The students also had the opportunity to become closely acquainted with the laboratories and learned about the modern equipment used there and its application in scientific research. In addition, presentations were delivered on the main research directions in the fields of molecular biology, genetics, and biotechnology, and the students’ questions were answered. The main goal of such meetings is to increase young people’s interest in science, familiarize them with the modern research environment, and support their future involvement in scientific activities.
