The Novruz holiday was celebrated at the Institute of Molecular Biology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In accordance with Novruz traditions, a festive bonfire was lit in the institute’s courtyard. The staff gathered around the bonfire, preserving ancient traditions and sharing a warm and festive atmosphere. It was noted that Novruz is an ancient national festival symbolizing the awakening of nature, the arrival of spring, and renewal and revival. This holiday promotes the strengthening of values such as unity, compassion, and kindness among people. It was particularly emphasized that the coincidence of Novruz and Ramadan holidays this year further enhances the spiritual significance of these days, contributing to the strengthening of solidarity, mutual respect, and the spirit of sharing within society. At the same time, the month of Ramadan and the Ramadan holiday hold special importance in the Islamic world, embodying such noble values as spiritual purity, patience, compassion, and generosity. These sacred days bring people closer together and remind them of the importance of supporting those in need.
