Leading researcher of the Institute of Molecular Biology under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Associate Professor Ulker Ibrahimova, was on a scientific mission to Prague, Czech Republic, on May 4–6, 2026. Our colleague participated in the international conference entitled “Cultivating connections: interdisciplinary insights from Diversicrop, Recrop and Pangeos”, held at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Organized within the framework of the Diversicrop, Recrop, and Pangeos projects, this interdisciplinary conference served as an important platform for scientists from different countries to exchange experience in the fields of plant biodiversity and sustainable agriculture. At the conference, Ulker Ibrahimova delivered an extensive presentation on the topic “Integrated Physiological, Biochemical, and Molecular Responses of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Cultivars to Salinity Stress.” The presentation highlighted the tolerance mechanisms of bread wheat genotypes under saline conditions, the molecular changes occurring in response to stress factors, and the results of research conducted in this field.
