Researcher  Gunay Ismayilova and junior researcher Vusala Jafarova from the Biotechnology and Bioengineering Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan were on a scientific mission to the Zagatala district on May 19–21. Within the framework of the mission, the researchers obtained planting material from chestnut plants at the Zagatala Experimental Station of the Fruit Growing and Tea Growing Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Scientific research planned within the project will be continued under laboratory conditions based on the collected specimens.
