On June 18–19, Ruhiyya Guliyeva, PhD in Biology and Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Molecular Cell Biochemistry and Signal Transduction of the Institute of Molecular Biology under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in the “2nd International Molecular Genetic Theory-Practice School” held at the premises of the VITTA Scientific and Technical Company. The seminar, regarded as one of the important scientific platforms in the field of molecular biology and genetics, was organized with the participation of leading specialists and highly qualified experts invited from the People's Republic of China. During the two-day program, participants enhanced their theoretical knowledge of modern molecular genetic methods, discussed innovative approaches, and exchanged professional experience. On the first day of the training, interactive lectures were delivered in both in-person and online formats based on presentations by local and international scientists. The second day of the seminar was devoted to practical laboratory sessions. During the practical training, Ruhiyya Guliyeva participated in the optimization of PCR analysis, evaluation of the kinetics of the main stages of the reaction, as well as the bioinformatic analysis of amplification results and the obtained data. At the end of the seminar, the participants’ acquired knowledge and skills were assessed, and certificates were awarded to them.
