Junior Researcher of the Institute of Molecular Biology under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elnara Sadiqova, conducted scientific research at Ghent University in the Kingdom of Belgium as part of her doctoral studies.

Elnara Sadiqova was awarded a scholarship after successfully participating in the competition held within the framework of the State Program on Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019–2023 and was admitted to the doctoral program at Ghent University, one of Europe's leading research universities.

She carried out her research at the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory of the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering at Ghent University.

In addition to conducting experimental research aimed at improving in vitro plant regeneration, Elnara Sadigova performed statistical analyses of data collected using advanced scientific equipment. During her research stay, she gained practical knowledge and skills in modern laboratory techniques and non-invasive plant analysis technologies.
