Institute of Molecular Biology staff attended the Opening Ceremony of the Fourth Climate Week of the UNFCCC (CW4)

On September 9, the high-level opening ceremony of the Fourth Climate Week of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (CW4) was held in Baku, hosted by Azerbaijan and organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov, UN officials, and other guests.
Led by Academician Irada Huseynova, Vice-President of ANAS and Acting Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology, Institute staff also attended the high-level opening ceremony of the Fourth Climate Week (CW4). As part of the events, which will continue until September 11, Institute staff will participate in various sessions, roundtable discussions, and panel meetings.
The events are dedicated to the practical implementation of climate decisions, international cooperation, and strengthening climate action ahead of COP31.
It should be noted that the Fourth Climate Week of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commenced on September 7.
