A meeting of the Trade Union Organization was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The meeting was chaired by Habil Gurbanov, Doctor of Law, Professor, and Chair of the United Trade Union Committee of Scientific Organizations of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The agenda included the election of a new member and chair of the Trade Union Committee in connection with the resignation of the current chair.

Based on proposals received from the staff, Khalida Mammadova, Head of the Human Resources and Legal Sector of the Institute, was nominated. As a result of an open vote, Khalida Mammadova was unanimously elected as the new member and Chair of the Trade Union Committee.

Habil Gurbanov and the meeting participants congratulated Khalida Mammadova on her election to the new position and wished her success in her future activities. Confidence was expressed that the new Chair would work effectively to protect the interests of the staff, strengthen solidarity among employees, and further develop the activities of the Trade Union Organization.

Academician Irada Huseynova, Acting Director of the Institute, expressed her gratitude to Habil Gurbanov for attending the meeting and for his support.

The meeting concluded with the determination of the tasks ahead.
