The next meeting of the National Coordinators Network (NCN) of the European Commission's Research and Innovation “Horizon 2020” Program has been held.

The meeting discussed the results of the Eastern Partnership (EP) EaP Plus project and the participation of Azerbaijani scholars in the “Horizon 2020” program.

Head of International Relations Department of the Presidium of ANAS, PhD in  biology, Associate Professor Esmira Alirzayeva informed about the next Horizon Europe stage of the European Commission's framework program, prospects, innovations for the CIS countries.

The members of the NCN have proposed to increase the participation of Azerbaijani scholars in the program, proper organization of the campaign, and discussed the action plan.

Specific steps are also taken in the meeting to make use of the new challenges of the COST Action tool.
