A regular scientific seminar was held on December 26, 2017 at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS. The senior researcher of the Laboratory of the Genome Structure and Organization, PhD in Biology Khudaverdiyeva Saadat gave a presentation on the topic "Stress-genome changes and reparation mechanisms”. The report summarized the results of recent studies on changes at various levels, including the molecular level, occurring in living organisms under the influence of stress factors, changes detected in DNA molecules, classification of lesions, reparation mechanisms induced in cells to eliminate the damage.
