On February 2,  an event dedicated to the "Youth Day" was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS.  Academic Irada Huseynova, Director of the Institute, said that the Youth Day was established in 1997 by the order of National Leader Haydar Aliyev, and emphasized that successful youth policy is being pursued in our country. She said young people have a great role in social and political life of the country  and  modern Azerbaijani science.  Academic noted that the great care shown to the youth of the institute is the continuation of the tradition set by the late academic Jalal Aliyev.  The youth, once directed to foreign countries on the initiative of Jalal Aliyev to improve their scientific knowledge, continue their scientific activity in many leading universities of the world and glorify Azerbaijan. The youth, who form the vast majority of the staff of the Institute and who have always been distinguished by their academic achievements, successfully started this year.  Earlier that day a preliminary discussion on the dissertation of the doctoral student of the institute, Samra Mirzayeva, for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy had been held. Academic congratulated her on the achievements and  wished her and all young employees success in their personal lives and scientific activity. Then the young employees of the Institute expressed deep gratitude for the attention and care shown to them.
