The second meeting of the Scientific Council for Clinical, Regenerative and Translational Medicine in 2020 was held in a video conference format.

The agenda of the meeting embraced the continuation of registration of annotations,holding of a relevant webinar to master the rules of their writing, organization of a conference on COVID-19, participation in COST programs, as well as preparation of an information booklet "Approaches to treating various diseases in COVID-19 approved people" and other issues.

During the meeting, it was decided to continue the registration of annotations in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Then discussions were held on the organizational issues of the COVID-19 conference organized by the Division of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS, it was decided to send information on the planned conference and collection of conference materials to the relevant scientific research centers of the republic.

The next issue discussed at the meeting was participation in projects under the European Commission's COST program. Proposals were made to organize the active participation of the republic's scientists in these international programs.

Also, the issue of compiling an information booklet in an academic style, which characterizes the approaches to the treatment of diseases in various specialties during the COVID-19 pandemic, was considered. For this purpose, it was decided to establish a working group and develop an initiative plan as soon as possible.

There was a wide exchange of views on the issues discussed at the video conference. During the discussions, the head of the I Department of Surgical Diseases of Azerbaijan Medical University, corresponding member of ANAS Nuru Bayramov, the chief of the Military Hospital of the State Border Service, Doctor of medical sciences Kenan Yusifzadeh and others were attended.
