The defense of ANAS master’s theses completed

The specialized defense councils created by the corresponding decree of the President of ANAS academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, successfully defended their master's theses online. At 18 specialized councils created in relevant specialties, defense of theses by 67 master’s graduates studying in 49 specialties passed.
About 150 ANAS scientists took part in the defense, the topics of dissertation works of graduate students were evaluated on a 100-point scale, taking into account many criteria (relevance, scientific novelty, scientific preparation, ability to present, use of scientific literature, reviews, publication activity, etc. .), after which they were awarded a master's degree.
Graduates from the 2019/2020 school year have published in local and foreign journals about 150 scientific articles and abstracts covering the results of their dissertation research.
Control over the organization of work of specialized defense councils and methodological support were carried out by the Science and Education Office of the ANAS Presidium Apparatus.
Taking part in the defense of master's theses, ANAS academician-secretary ANAS corresponding member Aminaga Sadigov expressed his comments and suggestions to undergraduates. Emphasizing in their speeches the need for them to continue their scientific activities, Aminaga Sadigov spoke about the great importance of youth participation in maintaining the continuity and development of domestic science, as well as about the support provided by the state to young people in this field.
