A drug announced by Azerbaijani scientists began to be used against COVID-19

After the effectiveness of the use of the drug “Remdesivir” in the treatment of patients with coronavirus has been proven, the relevant European authorities have been given official permission to use it. The specified drug is already used in the treatment of patients with COVID-19.
Chairman of the German-Azerbaijani Radiological and Neuroradiological Society, doctor of medical sciences at the University of Cologne Clinic Nuran Abdullayev said that during studies conducted by leading scientists, including scientists from the University of Cologne, it was proved that the drug alleviates the condition of patients with severe illness and reduces the recovery period up to 11 days.
