Academic Nargis Pashayeva and academic Irada Huseynova were elected new vice-presidents of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) at the general meeting of the Academy. According to the election results, academics Isa Habibbayli, Ibrahim Guliyev, Tofig Naghiyev and Dilgam Taghiyev were re-elected vice-presidents of ANAS, while the correspondent member of ANAS Bilal Bilalov was elected as a member of the Presidium. Academic Rasim Alguliev, was elected  academic-secretary of ANAS, academic Ahliman Amiraslanov  was elected academic-secretary of Department of Biology and Medical Sciences, academic Nazim Mammadov was elected  academic-secretary of  Department of Physics, Mathematics and Technical Sciences, academic Fakhraddin Gadirov was elected academic-secretary of Department of Earth Sciences, academic Dilgam Tagiyev was elected  academic-secretary of  Department of Chemical Sciences, academic Nargiz Akhundova was elected  academic-secretary of  Department of Social Sciences, academic Teymur Karimli was elected academic-secretary of Department of Humanitarian Sciences, academic Ismayil Hajiyev was elected academic-secretary of Nakhchivan Division, academic Fuad Aliyev was elected academic-secretary of Ganja Department
