On September 18, with the participation of the President of ANAS, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, members of the Presidium and directors of scientific institutions and organizations of the academy, have inspected the repair and reconstruction works carried out in the Transport-Economy and Repair-Construction Departments of the academy.

Speaking at the meeting, the head of the Department of Affairs of ANAS, Professor Elton Mammadov said that the main activity of the Department of Transport and Economy is to organize the repair and maintenance of vehicles on the balance of the academy. Today in the Department of Transport and Economy in accordance with modern standards, logistics, transport, centralized compressor system, oil change, washing stations, as well as the construction of an office building and equipment that meets food safety standards were commissioned by the staff, the equipped dining room has been built as well, noted Prof. Elton Mammadov.

Then the territory of the Repair and Construction Department was inspected. Mammadov noted that the territory of the department would be used as a logistics center after the restoration and repair of items in the inventory of the academy, as well as the restoration of the central procurement system. All the items dismantled during the repair work were documented, some of them were sent to the Khizi Stronghold, while others were kept in the department's warehouses, he added.
