The scale of complications caused by the coronavirus pandemic throughout the world and in our republic in particular is growing every day. Humanity is already facing the second wave of the virus that has captured the whole world. Currently, a serious crisis has arisen in the economies of many countries, borders are closed, and relations between states are weakened. In this difficult environment, all countries of the world are trying to do everything possible to reduce the negative consequences of the pandemic. The Azerbaijani government also continues to implement proactive measures aimed at both maximizing the protection of public health and reducing the number of infections, as well as minimizing the harm done to the country's economy, and keeps the processes associated with coronavirus under control.
By the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the quarantine regime was extended in our country until August 1. In addition, in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19 infection and to minimize the complications it creates, a special quarantine regime was tightened in Baku, as well as in some cities and regions, and some restrictions were introduced.
